CHRIST'S FAMILY
There are various kinds of friends
• Acquaintance
• Casual
• Good
• Close like a brother
Jesus surprised a crowd one day by ignoring
his blood relatives and saying to others
"Here are my mother and my brothers." Mark 3:31-35

Jesus was teaching ~ There is a new family that is
superior to the human family for it's eternal.
It's Ties are
- far stronger
- far more satisfying
- far more demanding
Those in Jesus' spiritual family are far more dear
to Him than His human family.
• Is Jesus a distant hitorical figure to you?
• Is God remote and impersonal to you?
YOU NEED TO BECOME A TRUE FOLLOWER OF JESUS!
Then you will experience being part of the family of God.

Obedience is Key to Experiencing Family with God
v. 35 "Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother."
How does odedience to God make us family?
Common Steps of Odedience Bind Us Together:

Obedience to God means We Will ~
1. Repent of Sins & Receive Forgiveness - Common Weeping & Grace
2. Make Jesus Our Lord - Common Master
3. Carry Out His Great Commission - Common Aim
When we are faithful to Jesus,
we experience the sweetness of a family
greater than any other!
